Bradford based business required better mobile connectivity for staff along with new handsets, tariff review and device protection
Crucial Engineering use mobile devices for Management, Engineers and Installation Teams to contact Head Office, customers, suppliers and each other, as well as accessing the company CRM system and signing off jobs at site. It is imperative that their devices and connectivity are always available. Their initial contract provided poor signal at Head Office and the Handsets were damaged and in need of repair or replacement. The tariff was also needing review due to regular data overspend and increasing costs.
The Existing Solution:
Crucial Engineering were on a Sim Only Friends and Family tariff with EE. Adding a user to the account was difficult and often took several days. Signal Coverage at their new Head Office was non-existent. Their fleet of LG Smartphones were in need of attention, with no kind of repair options, support or insurance in place.
The Eden Solution:
Eden provided a flexible 2-year contract with O2, offering unlimited calls and texts for each connection and a pooled data bundle to safeguard Crucial from data overspend by a single user.
A generous kit fund was provided, and this funded each connection with a Huawei Smartphone, Rugged protective case, Tempered Glass Screen Protector and two year Accidental Damage, Theft & Breakdown insurance.
Eden processed the new contract with a seamless number transfer at a time that suited the company and without any downtime.
Signal strength at Head Office now provides a full 4G experience and the new handsets allow jobs to be updated, confirmed and signed off without any issues. Management now have the peace of mind that the Mobile fleet is in the capable hands of the Eden team.
Although there were no upfront cost savings and their standard monthly bill has increased they have a complete managed mobile service, which is what they wanted to achieve. Overspend is almost non-exisitent, which has provided an overall saving on their annual mobile spend, and they have the flexibility to add users to their existing contract within 24 hours and 'co-terming' the renewal dates to align together.
The fantastic service that Eden have provided has led to Crucial increasing their number of connections, now offering connections for their customers as a fully managed maintenance service into state-of-the-art gates and lifts.
